Fleet Street in the City of London has long been known as the historic home of the British press. Number 53 is a Victorian terrace with a striking front-tiled facade. Thornsett Group, working with architects Capital Architecture, converted the property into five luxury residences, plus ground floor retail space.
TRC was appointed to design, supply and install 26 box sash windows for the main elevation, with an acoustic performance of 45 dB Rw. For the rear of the property, we provided 24 inward-opening timber tilt & turn windows, plus timber lift and slide patio doors.
