Need an urgent response?
Planning a substantial window replacement, restoration or upgrade? TRC works with owners of period, listed and architecturally significant homes, providing timber windows and doors shaped around the building.
You do not need every detail confirmed. These points simply help you decide if it is worth sending an enquiry.
TRC is unlikely to be the right supplier for one or two standard replacement windows or small repair jobs. A local timber window installer may offer a quicker and more economical route for that type of work.
TRC is set up for larger and technically considered projects. That can include replacing windows throughout a period home, restoring original joinery, improving thermal or acoustic performance, or supplying bespoke timber products for a major renovation.
years working with heritage windows
supply-only or selected supply-and-fit projects
The right route depends on the building, the condition of the existing windows and the scale of work.
Bespoke sash and casement windows designed to suit the proportions and detailing of your property.
Repair, draught-proofing, glazing and joinery work that retains suitable original fabric.
Options for thermal comfort, acoustic control and modern glazing within a considered specification.
Supply-only is available. TRC may also provide installation where the scale and location suit the project.
Most projects proceed on a supply-only basis, with TRC's timber windows and doors handed to your chosen contractor for fitting. Where the scale and location of a project suit it, TRC may also offer installation directly – this is agreed on a project-by-project basis rather than offered as standard. Either way, the specification, manufacture and quality of the joinery remain the same.

Yes. TRC carries out restoration work including timber repairs, draught-proofing, re-glazing and joinery repair, retaining original fabric wherever it remains sound. Projects can include control samples and benchmark windows to agree the approach before restoration work is rolled out across the wider property.
Once you send your outline, TRC reviews the project’s scale, location and technical fit. Suitable projects move to discussion, survey or specification as needed, then proceed to manufacture and delivery. If TRC isn’t the right fit, you’ll be told early and pointed toward better-suited options.
