RHP owns and manages over 10,000 properties in South West London. The asset base includes approximately 7,000 rented properties, 3,000 leasehold properties and 500 retirement housing properties. Timber window replacement and associated timber window repairs to be carried out on a rolling programme to its existing schemes and associated buildings in line with all British Regulations and Standards, or equal and approved European and international standards.

TRC Contracts were appointed as Main Contractor by RHP in January 2020 to carry out the full replacement of existing traditional timber windows with our high performance traditional range of timber sash windows and timber casement windows.

In total we replaced 107no windows, the average U-Value we achieved of all windows was 1.41 and a number of windows were supplied PAS24 compliant.

The works consisted of the following.

  • Provide suitable access to undertake the works.
  • Survey of each of the designated properties to facilitate production.
  • Issue detailed production drawings in both CAD & Pdf. for approval.
  • Remove & dispose of the existing windows that require replacement.
  • Replace the windows which are required, window boards, trims, necessary repairs needed to existing windows that do not require full replacement and carry out all associated details and refurbishment work in bringing the windows back to full function. (3nr only)
  • Repairs, replacements, and making good of any areas disturbed to the internal and external areas of the property, such as lintels, concrete, brickwork, pointing, plastering and decorations.
