TRC are experts in working on listed and historic buildings. During our long history, we have been proudly selected to work on some of the UK's most prominent buildings. All of these projects require careful liaison with conservation officers, architects and the build team to ensure strict guidelines are followed.

Ancient Scheduled Monuments

Osborne House on the Isle of Wight is an ancient scheduled monument where we utilised techniques recommended by SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) to carefully repair the frames and reglaze damaged panes in original crown glass.

Grade I Listed Buildings

Admiralty Arch in central London is a Grade I listed building where we utilised traditional joinery techniques along with minor resin repairs to recreate all of the original features and mouldings on the existing windows. We have introduced our discreet draught proofing and reglazed previously damaged historic glass with restoration glass. We have also replaced some windows and doors with single-glazed replica bespoke joinery.

Grade II Listed buildings

The Museum of London is a Grade II listed building where we have utilised traditional joinery techniques combined with resin repairs to restore the windows and have replaced the glass with vacuum-glazed units incorporating restoration glass. Discreet draught proofing is being installed and some windows are being replaced with windows from our heritage range.

Conservation Area Properties

Queens Quay is in a conservation area where we have replaced the timber windows with our sympathetic windows from our traditional range, with slight adaptations to the glazing bar profiles to meet the requirements of the conservation officer.
