One of the most frequent questions we are asked is for help with budget costs for refurbishment v replacement, we can provide you with all of these options whether it be complete replacement with bespoke or standard windows, extensive refurbishment to include complete glazing renewal and bespoke ironmongery or basic overhauling and installation of draft proofing.

Applications for listed building consent & article 4 direction consent
We provide detailed surveys to assist in achieving listed building consent and to help you navigate the often complex and stringent planning requirements, we help you to decide what alterations and upgrades are possible and we provide you with detailed advice, specifications and drawings to help you achieve your goals.

Depending on the local conservation officer some alterations like replacing the double-glazed units for slim sealed units or replacement sashes with Vacuum glazing can be done without planning consent, we provide you with detailed advice, specifications, drawings and advice to help you achieve your goals.

Surveys
We offer various levels of surveys:
Detailed condition surveys involve site visits to include a survey, preparing a window schedule and photographic schedule.
Basic condition surveys involve a site visit and survey utilising drawings and schedules provided by the client.
Desktop surveys involve general advice without a site visit utilising photos and drawings provided by the client.
