TRC’s Easy Clean Sash Windows combine the appearance of a traditional sash with a modern tilt-and-slide mechanism. Each sash can tilt inwards up to 50 degrees, making it possible to clean panes and frames safely from inside the property – a practical solution for upper floors or difficult-to-reach areas.
Built from sustainable, engineered timber, these windows are factory finished with a durable three-coat microporous paint or stain. They achieve U-values as low as 1.4 W/m²K, with tested weather performance including Class 4 air permeability, Class 5A water tightness, and Class 4C wind resistance.
With options for glazing types, ironmongery, cill projections and finishes, the Easy Clean Sash Window provides long-term durability, flexibility, and a simple way to maintain traditional character while meeting modern performance standards and functionality.

The high-quality paint and stain finishes provide excellent protection for 10 and six years respectively, against blistering or flaking. This ensures the timber is protected for many years to come.
Tilt and slide easy clean windows are available with traditional sash window details, including double-glazing, heritage-style double-glazing or triple-glazing, with the option of external sash horns and horizontal glazing bars. Ironmongery can include sash locks, tilt button, hook lifts and sash stops.
